Instructor:  Elena Homans

There's more than one way you can knit a sweater. “Morning Sky” is knitted seamlessly from the bottom up, starting with the slightly flared lace hem. Short rows are worked at the back neck, otherwise, it is knit entirely in the round. Knit in a fingering or sport weight yarn, with approximately 3-5” of positive ease, results in an easy to wear year-round garment. Morning Sky top is so simple yet so elegant.

There is homework to be completed prior to the 1st session of this workshop. So, please be sure to sign up in advance.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN: bottom up seamless sweater construction, calculating gauge, math of using your gauge and making it work for your measurements, reading charts, basics of lace, twin stitches (variation of the short rows), sewn bind off.

PREREQUISITES:  Confident knitting & purling, knitting in the round, yarnover, simple increases & decreases.

*plus p[attern and materials.  Only Yarn del Sol yarns are to be used in the project.
